We spent Friday, 28th June celebrating the year 11's last day. They watched an assembly with their Head of Year and had pizza and donuts in the atrium while signing shirts.

Not only did the revise early Weimar Germany in preparation for their summer mock examinations, they also worked collaboratively to gain a greater understanding of the rise of Hitler.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all students and staff who took part or supported the Day's Fundraising. In total £194.67 was raised to support those in need!​ 

Our school figures for the month of January are incredible. It shows the fantastic journey that the maths department is on and all the hard work that both the teachers and students, are doing to work towards being the best.

Kai has produced a GCSE narrative account History response, explaining in chronological order how settlement farming developed from 1854 onwards in the territories of Kansas and Nebraska. His engagement with live lessons during lockdown is to be applauded. Well done Kai!

Olivia in Year 8 has been engaging with live History lessons with Mr Webb. She's produced an excellent response to the question about the significance of Henry VIII's break from Rome'. A well argued extended answer. Congratulations Olivia!

Year 7 Historians have been investigating why William won the Battle of Hastings. Today we were considering how William kept control of the Anglo-Saxons by using the interpretation of Peter Ackroyd.
