Teens New Futures (Safe New Futures)
Safe New Futures is a Southampton-based Charity providing free online support to help people increase confidence and reduce anxiety. We will be running a course suitable for 13- to 16-year-olds over the summer. This four-week course will be suitable for students who may be experiencing social anxiety or who need additional support after leaving secondary school. The course is delivered via Zoom by facilitators who are experienced in engaging with young people and working with them to achieve their goals.
The next Teens course is on the 25th of July 2022 and will be:
- Free
- Online 3 days a week via Zoom
- Open to young people aged 13-16 years
In addition to the group sessions, the participants are offered 1:2:1 mentoring.

Get Active
Get Active, Paulsgrove! presents a FREE family event at Paulsgrove Park (opposite the housing office) on Wednesday 27 July between 11 am and 3 pm. This family fun day is full of activities to help you be more active, get fitter and discover more of the city, helping you ditch the car for a cheaper, cleaner way to travel.
At the event families will find a range of free, fun activities designed to get people of all ages and abilities on the move, plus there will be the chance to win a free bike and accessories!
There's plenty to get involved with, including a cycling obstacle course, face painting for the kids, bike safety checks and security marking. Plus, there are free travel giveaways, discounts, and walking and cycling groups to join for friendship and fitness.
