Starting secondary school is about much more than just lessons, it’s also about discovering new interests, making friends, and feeling part of the school community. Our wide-ranging programme of free clubs gives every student the chance to do exactly that from their very first term with us.
Clubs run at different times throughout the school day, including before school, at break and lunchtime, and after school, making it easy for students to get involved in a way that suits them. Whether your child enjoys sport, creativity, problem-solving, performing, or simply trying something new, there is something for everyone to explore.
All of our clubs are open to any student, no experience needed, so Year 7 students can join in with confidence, meet new people, and develop friendships beyond the classroom. Some clubs run all year round, giving students a regular activity to look forward to each week, while others run for one or two terms, allowing students to sample different activities as the seasons change.
Taking part in clubs is a brilliant way for students to build confidence, develop new skills, and feel settled quickly in their new school environment. We actively encourage Year 7 students to get involved, be adventurous, and make the most of the exciting opportunities available to them.
