At Castle View Academy, we believe it is important to recognise and reward students who demonstrate positive attitudes, strong values, and a commitment to their education. One way we do this is through our Praise Postcard system.
You can be awarded a Praise Postcard if you consistently demonstrate any of our academy values:
- Determination – trying your best and not giving up
- Ambition – aiming high and working towards your goals
- Respect – showing kindness, consideration, and good manners to others
You will also receive a Praise Postcard for every week you achieve 100% attendance, helping to reinforce the importance of being in school every day and making the most of your learning.
Praise Postcards are a great way for staff to recognise your hard work, positive behaviour, and effort both in lessons and around the academy. They celebrate doing the right thing and setting a positive example to others.
Once you receive a Praise Postcard, you can enter it into a prize draw for the chance to win exciting rewards. Prizes range from chocolate and small treats to Amazon vouchers and even brand‑new bikes! The more postcards you earn, the more chances you have to win.
Our rewards system encourages students to be proud of their achievements, stay motivated, and live out the values of Castle View Academy every day. It’s a fun and rewarding way to recognise success and make your school experience even more enjoyable.
