At Castle View Academy, our Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) programme forms an important part of our wider Education with Character curriculum. We are committed to providing pupils with high-quality, age-appropriate and evidence-informed education that supports their physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. Through RSHE, pupils develop the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to build positive, respectful relationships, make informed decisions, stay safe both online and offline, and thrive in an ever-changing world.
Working in partnership with parents and carers, we aim to ensure that all pupils receive accurate, balanced and inclusive learning that reflects the statutory guidance from the Department for Education. Our curriculum promotes respect, kindness, resilience and personal responsibility, while supporting safeguarding by helping young people recognise risks, seek support when needed and understand how to navigate challenges safely and confidently.
